Team Spotlight Stories
Good investors invest in people.
That simple idea led to strategy of publishing more team spotlight stories on the Wyss Institute’s website and in our business-focused newsletter. The idea being that when people put money into a Wyss startup, not only are they supporting an idea that we have de-risked, but they’re also financially backing a cohesive team that has experience working together successfully.
Building on the success of these stories, and our success in building community by recognizing our administrative teams, we launched a series of profiles of non-research teams that enable translation. The first on our machine shop was featured in a Harvard Gazette email, which brought a lot of traffic to our site.
